Our Impact

Dignity can’t wait.

Let’s help now.
Now, let’s help more.

In its first year,, She Does More launched and then immediately scaled its operations up. We started in the Kyaka Refugee Camp, where we recruited local volunteers who delivered 200+ Dignity and Hygiene Kits alongside education to 12- to 17-year-olds.

At the end of the year, we scaled operations up, creating our own facilities to assemble and then deliver 1022 Dignity and Hygiene Kits and education kits to the Nakivale Refugee Camp.

She Deserves More: Our First Year, In Review

Locals helping locals.

Within our Dignity and Hygiene kids, there was two types of good that needed to be made or required assembly: our reusable sanitary pads and our jars of skincare oil. Rather than import these, our founder Naomi Clark wanted She Deserves More to work within her community and create a local industry.

We opened the She Deserves More Dignity Factory in Kampala in our first year, training 6 local community members to produce 4800 sanitary pads and fill 1222 jars of pomade skincare oil.

Exponential aid.

Our primary goal for 2026 is to solidify our sustainable manufacturing operation and expand our reach within the Nakivale Refugee Camp, ensuring a greater number of vulnerable 12-17-year-olds receive consistent support.

Our founder Naomi Mukangamo is a former refugee who wanted to make sure everyone living in the camps had access to the items needed to maintain their dignity.
